Hayward Field Will Host The US 2008 Olympic Trials

Hayward Field will host the 2008 U.S. Olympic track and field trials. I look forward to having the trials back here again. It brings a lot of life to a little town. Today was the first time that I have been there since the remodel was done. It looks really nice without losing its soul.

Overlooking Eugene's Saturday Market

Peeking through the tress is the Summit Bank building on Broadway and Oak. They have a nice view of downtown and overlook the Saturday Market during the season. It's kind of a funky designed building, and I like that. There are just too many glass boxes, a little detail goes a long way. The tress also help to soften buildings downtown, I wish we had more.
