I am from Chile, and had passed trough Eugene once I was studied at UCDavis.
I am impresed with your pictures and will appreciate if you can recomend me a digital camera for pictures with a lot of light (snow, water falls, and detail like flowers).

I am using a Canon Rebel XTI. It's been pretty good for the price paid. I don't think you could wrong with any of the Canon or Nikon digital SLRs.
I checked your blog. Pretty cool stuff. Looks like you have a lot of great photo ops in Chile!
